General Information

I am a PR manager, infleuncer marketer and freelance writer with more than 20 years of industry experience.  I spent 7 years as Entertainment Editor at DRUM and then YOU magazine before venturing into PR. 

My first foray into PR was at an agency where I held the role as PR Account Manager for the FOX Channels in Africa – FOX, FX, National Geographic and National Geographic Wild. In conjunction with my role with FOX, I worked as a PR Specialist and Manager for national South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) radio station 5FM up until 2022. 

In 2016, I took on the role as PR for The Walt Disney Company Africa working specifically on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD as an outside contractor via my PR company Entourage Media. Similar to the outputs while at FOX, the job requirement also extended to working with the Disney DCP (Disney Consumer Products) team on PR efforts around Disney licensed products.

A multi-tasker of note, I started an influencer management company (Neon Pineapple) in 2020, while writing freelance for various publications including government publication Public Sector Manager. In 2025, I also added podcaster to my resume, with a travel podcast available on Apple. Spotify & YouTube.
