Founder & Executive Director | PHAHLA™ Vodka | Building an African Premium Spirits Brand

I am the Founder & Executive Director of PHAHLA™ Vodka (Pty) Ltd, a proudly South African, Black-owned premium spirits company committed to building globally competitive African consumer brands.

With more than 22 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, and business strategy, I have applied governance, compliance, and disciplined execution to develop PHAHLA™ Vodka from concept to commercialization.

PHAHLA™ Vodka is an African Premium Vodka “crafted with respect to unite people” under the vision “Honouring the Past. Distilling the Future.” Our manufacturing is undertaken through a licensed South African distillery, while we focus on brand development, commercial strategy, and national distribution.

The business is currently progressing through commercialization, including:

• Product samples submitted to Shoprite Holdings for listing panel evaluation.
• Trial live retail listing at Pick n Pay Liquor.
• Approved listing with Massmart Liquor.
• National market expansion planning.
• Engagement with commercialization and growth funding partners.

Beyond building a premium spirits brand, I am passionate about creating jobs, strengthening local manufacturing, and showcasing South African excellence through world-class consumer brands.
