TEDA's funding fair to focus on SME support and growth

Small businesses and entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend the Tshwane small medium and micro enterprises funding fair. The fair takes place, on 19 June 2014 at the Distong National Museum of Cultural History in Pretoria.

The event, hosted by the Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA), seeks to promote the advancement of small business within the City of Tshwane. The main focus of the fair will be the funding and growth of SMMEs.

TEDA, in a statement, said it hopes the fair will create a platform for SMMEs to access information on funding and to discuss various ways to promote growth within the sector.

The organisation says it also seeks to encourage the growth of small businesses in a bid to increase employment opportunities.

Exhibitors at the fair will include several key institutions in the SME sector including, NEF, City of Tshwane Economic Development SMME Desk, NYDA” data-scayt-word=”<a class=” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>NYDASEFANedbankSEDA and the IDC. They will be joined by local SMMEs who will also get an opportunity to showcase their work.
