In a recent interview with SME South Africa on raising equity capital through listing on the JSE,  Hughes explained that the JSE is an ideal listing destination for companies looking to raise capital by tapping the large pools of local, global and institutional investor capital.

There are a few other benefits to listing on the JSE, Hughes said, such as the potential to attract international investors and also enhance a business’ dealings with banks, suppliers, distributors and customers.
