You can accomplish more as an entrepreneur using technology than you can without it. This was the major takeaway of the second edition of MTN’s annual Digital Entrepreneur Masterclass held at the Riversands Incubation Hub in Johannesburg this week.
The focus of the masterclass was what the digital revolution means for businesses and in turn, what entrepreneurs can do to ensure they are not left behind.
The event is an initiative of MTN Business and its technology partners, Google, Samsung, Huawei, HP, SiMoDiSa, Blue Robot, National Gazelles and CAT, and is aimed at helping SMEs make sense of the often overwhelming “Digital Industrial Revolution” by sharing insights on how entrepreneurs can make use of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics to grow their businesses.
The Masterclass is part of a series of talks and workshops being hosted by MTN across the country.
Speakers including CEO of Innate Investment Solutions, Lynette Ntuli, Google South Africa’s B2B Product Marketing Manager Nivani Govinder as well as SiMoDiSa’s Matsi Modise, along with the winners of the MTN Business App of the Year Awards, shared advice, insights and tips and showcased solutions that can help entrepreneurs become more efficient, enhance productivity, reduce costs and take their businesses to the next level.
Get your business ready for the digital revolution – here are some of the takeaways from The Digital Entrepreneur Masterclass 2017.
