Freshbooks is a web-based accounting software that can be accessed on iOS and Android. The software can used by businesses with employees or those that work with contractors, as well as freelancers and self-employed professionals. 

They offer four different plans with the following features – unlimited invoices, expense tracking, creation of estimates, reporting tools, the setting up of client profiles and account statements, a client self-service portal and the ability to get paid with credit cards and checkout links. 

The number of clients you are able to bill depends on the plan, ranging from five, 50 and unlimited number of clients.

  • Plus – R120 p/m (can bill up to 50 clients).
  • Premium – R280 p/m (unlimited billing).
  • Select – custom pricing for businesses with more complex needs (unlimited billing)

For an additional R130 per month you may team members to any of the plans.

Note: If you delete clients to make space for another (on Lite or Plus plans), the deleted clients’ invoices and information will still remain accessible to you, and you can always undelete clients.
