Introduction

Founded in 1997, Webafrica is an Internet service provider (ISP) based in South Africa that offers various fibre products and packages. The company specialises in fibre, fixed LTE services, alternative power sources such as uninterrupted power supply (UPS), and load-shedding kits which come with an inverter and battery. Solar power kits also include a solar panel.

Vision and Services

Webafrica does not provide fibre infrastructure. On the website, the company says it has partnered with multiple infrastructure providers like Openserve and Vumatel, to “ensure that we can bring the best possible Internet options to as many areas as possible.”

Webafrica has many plans available to suit different needs. Plans are dependent on the fibre provider and the Internet speed needed.

Main Features

Free installation – Webafrica and its providers do not charge any installation fees. The installation time ranges from one week to two weeks depending on the package.

Free router – Webafrica provides a router that is fully insured with every package purchased.

Uncapped Internet – The Majority of the packages on Webafrica come with uncapped Internet, available in different speeds.

Internet speeds – Webafrica offers various Internet speeds ranging from 4 Mbps up to 1000 Mbps on select packages.
