Initiative to nurture future women business leaders

Ten women entrepreneurs are getting a major business boost with the help of a year long executive leadership programme. Ernst & Young  has released their list of women entrepreneurs who will be joining their Entrepreneurial Winning Women initiative. Every year the company identifies a group of women entrepreneurs whose businesses show real potential to rise, and helps them become market leaders.

“We strongly believe that stronger support networks are needed for strengthening the future of entrepreneurship in South Africa,” says Cheryl-Jane Kujenga, Africa Leader for the World Entrepreneur Awards at EY.

“As a leader in guiding entrepreneurs and their companies, it is important to honour and recognise these women for their impact, while encouraging others to follow in their footsteps.”

The winners will join a business network of the country’s high-growth companies and participate in a customised executive leadership programme with year-round activities such as access to informal, one-to-one guidance and support and increased national and regional visibility for themselves and their companies among corporate executives and investors.
