South Africa's entrepreneurship levels have dropped - here's whyTorino Lounge, a KwaZulu-Natal based manufacturer of lounge suites, will be seeking to expand its client base when it participates in a trade mission and business engagements that will be taking place in Lusaka, Zambia in March.

Torino Lounge has been supplying the Zambian market since the early 2000’s.

The trade mission aims to promote business engagements between companies in the neighbouring Zambia and KwaZulu-Natal.

Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN), a provincial agency which promotes KZN as an investment destination and also assists local companies to access international markets, has coordinated a group of 12 companies from the province to explore business opportunities in Zambia.

TIKZN chief executive, Zamo Gwala, said that KZN companies were eager to meet with their Zambian counterparts who have a desire to do business and expand trade between the two countries.

“As part of this trade mission, there will be a business to business session on March 7, therefore interested entities in Zambia are encouraged to view the profiles of the KZN delegates online and secure their meetings,” Gwala said in a statement.

“The KZN delegation will also be provided with an opportunity to conduct site visits to Zambian companies of interest and to visit some key infrastructure sites like the industrial park in Lusaka.”  (via African News Agency)
