Intuit Quickbooks’ accounting software allows business owners to manage their financial books from their computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, helping to keep their books accurate and up to date.

There is also the option of creating access privileges so that your colleague or accountant can log in and work with your data online.

There are three plans – Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus – which all offer automatic data back-ups, tracking of income and expenses, the sending of invoices and quotes, as well as bank-level security and encryption.

Pricing

They offer three plans.

• The Simple Start plan for startups – R238,05 per month, alternatively, the annual price is R2004,79 per year.
• The Essentials plan for established businesses – R R364,55 per month, alternatively, the annual price is R3070, 43 per year.
• The Plus plan for bigger business – R491,05 per month, alternatively, the annual price is R4136, 70 per year.

Features

All Intuit Quickbooks plans have the following features:  tracking of income and expenses, sending of  custom invoices and quotes, tracking VAT, and  bank connection. 

• Simple Start – allows for one user, plus your accountant.
• Essentials plan – insights and reports; managing employees; and the multi-currency feature. This plan allows for three users, plus your accountant.
• Plus plan –  insights and reports; manage employees; multi-currency; recurring transactions; track inventory; track projects and locations; and manage budgets. This plan allows access to five users.

Pros

Bank-level security and encryption is a feature. You are also able to track inventory, and track projects and locations.

Cons

Limitations on the number of users.
