Beauty on TApp
Beauty on TApp is a mobile phone app that connects beauty service providers and independent product manufacturers with clients. Their online shop also sells hair care, make-up and skin care products.
Mi-Bella Beauty
Mi-Bella is a 100% BEE woman-owned beauty business by Shavanna Prakash. The company has both a beauty salon and body product range which includes scrubs and body butters.
USO by African Dermal Science
This 100% black female-owned South African skin care manufacturer is the brainchild of Dr Theo Mothoa-Frendo who formulated the products range specifically for women with darker skin tones.
Euphrates Cosmetics
Euphrates is a cosmetics brand with products that help to address a range of skin issues like uneven toned skin, acne, blemishes and excessive oily skin. The company also empowers, mentors and uplifts women through leadership and mentorship programmes.
Afri-Berry
Afri-Berry is a 100% black-owned manufacturer of naturally-based skin and hair care products. The company is based in the City of Tshwane. Co-founder, Relebohile Moeng was inspired to launch her beauty products after a near-fatal car accident left her with 150 stitches on the face.
Guest Comfort (Isondo Investments)
Guest Comfort specialises in manufacturing and distributing personal care and cosmetics packages for the hospitality industry. Their products include palm noodle soaps, conditioning shampoos, foam baths, lotions and glycerine soaps.
Sister Jenny JEN-TIL TOUCH
Sister Jenny produces a range of natural healing and beauty creams that repair and regenerate the skin. Their joint and muscle creams are made to help ease fibromyalgia, sport injuries and arthritis.
Hair care
Profusion Hair
Based in Mombela, Mpumalanga, Profusion Hair, has been operational since 2015. They manufacture shampoos, conditioners and hair gels, as well as other speciality hair care products.
Nalane ea Afrika
Nalane ea Africa is 100% black women-owned manufacturing company focusing on natural hair care products. Founder, Karabo Mokoena, said their mission is to only use African products. “Everything that we use must be African”.
The Perfect Hair
Hair entrepreneur, Taryn Gill, launched her hair care range to address different textures of African hair. They manufacture shampoos, conditioners, gels and stylers. They also have a kid-friendly range.
Spa treatments and massages
Relax Spas
Relax In-Room Spas & Spa Suite was founded by Noli Mini, a former Camelot Spa therapist with nearly two decades of experience in the spa and beauty industry. Relax Spas are located in various hotels and guest houses in the Cape Town area.
Hands On Treatment
Hands On Treatment is a mobile corporate spa and massage company catering to office workers, including call centre agents, with the aim of reducing stress and increasing productivity.
