Biography
Phumelele Gcadinja is an entrepreneur, business development practitioner, and founder of Springs of Life Sustainable Water Solutions, a social-impact-focused water solutions business under Sons of David Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

Phumelele is passionate about entrepreneurship, sustainable development, innovation, and creating practical solutions to challenges affecting underserved communities. His entrepreneurial journey has been strengthened through formal training in Entrepreneurial Development at the University of Johannesburg’s Johannesburg Business School, through the Raymond Ackerman Academy, where he developed practical knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship, business management, opportunity identification, business modelling, and enterprise development.

Through his studies and practical entrepreneurial experience, Phumelele has developed a growing expertise in entrepreneurial development, business strategy, social entrepreneurship, sustainable business models, community-focused innovation, and early-stage business development.

He is currently building Springs of Life Sustainable Water Solutions, an emerging water-solutions enterprise focused on improving access to safe, affordable, and sustainable drinking water. His vision is to develop an integrated Water-as-a-Service ecosystem that combines water purification, water vending, community water solutions, education, technology, and innovative service delivery.

Phumelele is particularly interested in using entrepreneurship as a vehicle for economic empowerment, community development, job creation, and sustainable impact. His approach combines entrepreneurial thinking with real-world community needs, with the goal of developing businesses that are not only commercially viable but also capable of creating measurable social and environmental value.
