Hayley Fortuin is the Founder and CEO of Next Chapter Advisory, a South African business advisory firm helping entrepreneurs and SMEs build compliant, fundable, and sustainable businesses. An Associate General Accountant (SA), Hayley specializes in financial governance, compliance, business strategy, tax, accounting, and investor readiness.

Driven by the belief that governance is a catalyst for business growth rather than a compliance exercise, she developed the SME Governance Accelerator™ to help businesses strengthen their foundations before they seek funding, scale operations, or enter new markets.

Hayley serves as a business mentor across several entrepreneurship and leadership initiatives, including the mLab Digital Enterprise Accelerator Programme (mDEA), the University of the Western Cape Small Business Clinic, and the Graca Machel Trust Women Creating Wealth Programme. She is passionate about creating opportunities that enable entrepreneurs to build resilient businesses, create jobs, and contribute to Africa’s economic development.

Her vision is for Next Chapter Advisory to become the trusted governance partner for SMEs across Africa, equipping entrepreneurs with the systems, insights, and strategic guidance they need to build businesses that endure.
