General Information

Khulekani Samuel Thombo is an educator, entrepreneur, and emerging educational leader based in South Africa. He currently serves as a French Teacher at Reddam House Umhlanga, where he is actively involved in academic support, learner development, and pastoral care within an independent school environment.

He holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a BA Honours in French from University of KwaZulu-Natal, with academic specialisation in French and Philosophy. His professional qualifications include a French Teaching Certification from CAVILAM in France, DALF C2 certification, ProFLE certification, and a Certificate of Conceptual World Languages (2025).

Khulekani has contributed extensively to academic quality assurance through his work with the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) as a Marker, Oral Moderator, Convener, and member of the National Subject Forum. His experience spans teaching, educational leadership, curriculum support, and student mentorship across independent and international school contexts.

Beyond education, he is the founder of several entrepreneurial initiatives focused on education, logistics, and business development, reflecting his passion for innovation, leadership, and sustainable impact. He is particularly interested in educational transformation, youth development, language learning, and building opportunities that empower communities through knowledge and entrepreneurship.
