Andile Mamarara is a passionate skills development professional and training entrepreneur committed to using education as a catalyst for growth, transformation, employability, and economic participation.

With nine years of experience in South Africa’s skills development sector, Andile has built his career around a firm belief that quality education and workplace-based training can transform not only individual lives, but families, communities, and organisations.

His entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by both opportunity and adversity. For several years, he successfully participated in funded learnership initiatives, including Employment Tax Incentive (ETI)-supported programmes. When these opportunities declined amid challenges within the funding environment, Andile was forced to rethink the sustainability and future direction of his training organisation. Rather than abandoning the sector, he chose to strengthen his capabilities, pursue occupational accreditation, and continue building towards a more sustainable training model.

A significant part of his journey has been undertaken independently, often without the benefit of established mentors, strategic networks, or experienced industry guidance. This experience has strengthened his resilience while also reinforcing his belief in the importance of mentorship, collaboration, strategic partnerships, and shared knowledge in building sustainable organisations.

Today, Andile leads a QCTO-accredited Skills Development Provider authorised to deliver four occupational qualifications:

• 📋 Occupational Certificate: Office Administrator — NQF Level 5
• 📈 Occupational Certificate: Small Business Consultant — NQF Level 5
• 👥 Advanced Occupational Certificate: HR Management Officer — NQF Level 6

His vision extends beyond delivering qualifications. He aims to build a sustainable skills development organisation capable of connecting education, workplace experience, employment, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity.

A central focus of his work is unlocking strategic funding and partnerships that can create opportunities for unemployed youth, develop employed learners, strengthen businesses, and equip South Africans with occupational skills that respond to the needs of the modern workplace.

For Andile, training is more than a profession or business—it is a purpose.

His long-term ambition is to establish an organisation recognised not simply for the number of learners it trains, but for the measurable difference it makes in people’s lives: helping individuals gain confidence, develop workplace competence, access meaningful opportunities, and participate productively in South Africa’s economy.

His journey continues to be guided by a simple conviction:
