Ofentse Rapakgadi’s career sits at the intersection of marketing, entrepreneurship and impact. From building businesses and leading marketing functions to mentoring emerging entrepreneurs and youth, and creating initiatives that expand access to opportunity, her work has consistently focused on helping people, brands and organisations grow, become more visible and realise their potential.

Marketing & Communications Leadership
Ofentse Rapakgadi is a serial entrepreneur, and a marketing and communications executive with over 12 years of experience building brands, leading strategy, and driving growth across higher education, property, and professional services. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Philosophy Honours in Marketing Management and a BCom in Marketing Management (University of Pretoria).

In 2026, she co-founded Positioning Partners, a B-BBEE level 1 marketing and public relations agency helping corporates, growth-stage SMMEs and individual leaders make their value known, build trusted reputations and attract greater opportunities. Her prior roles include Executive Head of Marketing at The DaVinci Institute and Head of Marketing at the University of Johannesburg’s Johannesburg Business School. She was the first ever Marketing Manager of Co.Space.

Entrepreneurship & Business Ventures
With over 13 years of entrepreneurship experience, Ofentse has built several businesses across different sectors. Her entrepreneurial journey began with a strong social purpose. The first brand she ever created was a Infollect Development Services, a non-profit organisation in Soshanguve dedicated to helping young people make informed career and school subject choices and navigate university entry and applications.

Professional Leadership, Memberships & Mentorship
She has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA), the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA), Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Ofentse has been a mentor with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation for over six years.
