General Information

On 23 July 2026, our beautiful mother, Cecelia (Shiela) Wilhelmina Silva (née Bagley), peacefully passed away after a long and courageous battle with illness.

She was the heart of our family—a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived a life filled with kindness, strength, and unconditional love, always putting the needs of others before her own. Anyone who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, warm smile, and incredible resilience.

Over the past months, our family did everything we could to care for her. We brought her to Cape Town so she could receive the medical attention she needed and lovingly cared for her at home throughout her illness. It was a privilege to be by her side until the very end.

Sadly, the financial burden of her medical care and funeral expenses has been more than we can manage on our own. We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for help in giving our mom the dignified farewell she truly deserves.
