Puleng Madontsela

Founder & Director – Raindrops of Love Baby Wellness Studio

My name is Puleng Madontsela, and I am the founder of Raindrops of Love Baby Wellness Studio, a baby wellness and family-focused business created to provide babies and their parents with a safe, nurturing and memorable wellness experience.

I am an experienced procurement and commercial professional with more than 15 years of experience working across the manufacturing, automotive and industrial sectors. Throughout my career, I have developed strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, cost management, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder engagement and business operations.

I hold a BTech in Logistics as well as a Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration. My professional journey has taught me the importance of discipline, planning, financial responsibility, negotiation and building strong relationships with suppliers, customers and business partners. These skills have given me a strong foundation from which to build my own business.

My Entrepreneurial Journey

Raindrops of Love was born from my desire to create something meaningful that combines business opportunity with a genuine service to families.

I recognised an opportunity within the baby and family wellness market for a dedicated environment where parents can slow down, bond with their babies and enjoy quality experiences together. I wanted to create more than simply a place where a service is provided. I wanted to create a warm, welcoming and memorable destination for parents and their babies.

This vision led to the development of Raindrops of Love Baby Wellness Studio.

The studio will offer services including baby hydrotherapy, baby and parent massage, infant massage classes, baby milestone and birthday photography experiences, as well as selected baby products.

My vision is to create an environment where parents feel comfortable, supported and valued, while babies experience age-appropriate wellness activities in a professional and caring setting.

Why I Believe I Can Build This Business

Although entrepreneurship is a new chapter in my professional journey, I am not new to managing complexity, negotiating, controlling costs, working with suppliers or making commercially responsible decisions.

My corporate career has taught me how to manage budgets, evaluate suppliers, negotiate agreements, identify risks, solve problems and work towards measurable business outcomes. I intend to bring the same level of professionalism and accountability into Raindrops of Love.

At the same time, I recognise that running my own business requires a different set of skills from working within a corporate environment. This is why I am actively seeking business mentorship, entrepreneurial development and strategic guidance alongside funding.

I am willing to learn, be coached and continuously improve. I believe that combining my existing professional experience with the right entrepreneurial mentorship will give me the foundation needed to build a sustainable business.

What I Am Seeking

I am seeking funding and business mentorship to assist me in turning the Raindrops of Love concept into a fully operational and sustainable business.

The funding will support the establishment of the studio, including the required facilities and equipment, initial stock, branding and marketing, operating expenses and working capital.

Beyond financial support, I am looking for a mentor or business development partner who can assist me in strengthening the business model, financial management, marketing strategy, customer acquisition, operational processes and long-term growth strategy.

I do not view funding simply as capital. I view it as an opportunity to build a properly structured business with the right foundations from the beginning.

My Vision

My long-term vision is to establish Raindrops of Love Baby Wellness Studio as a trusted and recognised baby wellness brand, initially serving families in the local community and ultimately creating opportunities for expansion into additional locations and complementary baby and family wellness services.

I also want the business to create employment opportunities and develop skills within the community as it grows.

My goal is to build a business that is commercially sustainable, professionally managed and meaningful to the families it serves.

I believe Raindrops of Love has the potential to become more than a baby wellness studio. I see it becoming a brand associated with love, wellness, bonding, memorable family experiences and quality care.

I am therefore seeking the opportunity to partner with organisations, funders and mentors who believe in supporting entrepreneurs with viable ideas and who can help me transform this vision into a sustainable and growing business.

Raindrops of Love is not only the business I want to build; it is the legacy I want to create.
