Our story began in 2015 with a simple dream — to combine a love for woodworking with a deep respect for wildlife.
Life, however, had its challenges. In 2017 we had to close our doors temporarily, but our dream never faded.
In 2021, Rudi began crafting nest boxes again from our backyard in Middelburg (Mp) By 2024, we relocated to Limpopo and opened our first 200 m² workshop in Thabazimbi’s industrial area. With determination, family support, and savings, we made it official: on 4 April 2025, Animal Nesting and Wood Products (Pty) Ltd was born.
We’re not a wildlife rescue centre — we’re a business with purpose.
Our durable, species-specific nest boxes provide new, safe nesting sites for wildlife whose natural habitats are disappearing — not only in the wild, but also in urban and industrial areas.
These installed nestboxes & feeders help people and companies reconnect with nature while supporting biodiversity restoration and natural pest control.
