Siphamandla Nginase

I am a driven, unemployed youth entrepreneur based in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, and the Founder and Director of Kasi Keeper (Pty) . Motivated by the high youth unemployment rate and the lack of local manufacturing infrastructure in the Ndlambe municipality, I established Kasi Keeper to create localized green economy solutions.
Through hands-on waste collection and metal casting, I lead our enterprise in intercepting aluminum waste before it leaves Port Alfred, upcycling discarded beverage cans into durable, high-value consumer goods like cookware and hardware tools. My goal is to build Port Alfred’s first sustainable youth-owned foundry, driving local job creation, environmental conservation, and township economic development.
