Thato Bokote is the Founder and Creative Director of FRNDLY SA, a South African clothing line rooted in youth culture, identity and civic expression.
With a background in branding and signage, Thato developed his creative practice through working with various brands, helping them establish and strengthen their visual identities. This experience became the foundation for his entrepreneurial journey into fashion, while also helping him develop a distinct creative voice.
Through FRNDLY SA, Thato explores how clothing can become more than a product serving as a canvas for South African youth culture, identity and civic expression.
His vision is to build a platform that reflects the evolving identity of young South Africans, encourages cultural dialogue and creates meaningful impact through fashion.
