Ed Gassner has been appointed as the new CEO of the Britehouse Group, a division of Dimension Data, the Johannesburg-based information technology services company announced on Friday.

Gassner will take over from Paolo Masselli, who in January become Dimension Data’s London-based chief operating officer.

Dimension Data Middle East and Africa CEO Grant Bodley said Gassner would focus on aligning the subsidiary brand more closely to Dimension Data to develop it as a “globally-focused digital advisory and applications practice”.

“He will help to deliver on our strategy to supply solutions on SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft technologies in the Middle East Africa region. Ed brings a wealth of experience in corporate and entrepreneurial organisations which will stand him in good stead,” Bodley added.

Gassner was one of the founders some twenty years ago of CDE, which is now known as BCX, a global organisation which implemented SAP solutions with offices in the UK, USA, Middle East, Australia, and South Africa. (via African News Agency)
